Yes, we have established cooperation with DHL, Fedex, UPS for many years, and we have faster shipping channels. We can get better price because we ship a lot every month
We can ship worldwide
This is based on the total weight or total CBM of your order. This is a function of the number of shipping cartons, the dimensions of each shipping carton, and the weight per carton. We ship all orders from Dongguan, Guangdong, China, so the final cost of shipping will be dependent on which country we ship to
Cubic meter or CBM is a measurement of volume of a shipment. It determines how much space your cargo will take up on a ship, aircraft or truck, which in turn will decide how much it will cost to transport.
The volumetric weight (or dimensional weight) is a calculation that shows how much space a shipment occupies. The volumetric weight is calculated and compared with the actual weight, and the higher of the two weights is used to calculate the total shipping cost.
Express shipping includes companies like FedEx, UPS, or DHL that handle small parcel shipments that are usually less than 150kg. Air freight, or air cargo, is a way of transporting goods by air, using both cargo and passenger airplanes, and is recommended for shipments weighing less than 300kg. Sea freight or train freight is a way of transporting goods using shipping containers, and is best for shipments weighing more than 300kg.
Your goods are usually packed in strong double cartons, consisting of an inner box and an outer box. If you have demand, we can also provide pallet shipment.
You certainly can, and once production is complete, we can provide a complete packing list and related information to your shipping company.
Sure! Please note that while we can blind ship, we must state ‘Made in China’ on the shipping cartons for customs reasons in many countries. Other than this, there will be no mention of COWIN Packaging at all to the end recipient. Contact with us if you’d like your order to be blind shipped.
Absolutely! We recommend combining orders and shipping them together so that you save on shipping costs.
Incoterms, widely-used terms of sale, are a set of 11 internationally recognized rules which define the responsibilities of sellers and buyers. Incoterms specify who is responsible for paying for and managing the shipment, insurance, documentation, customs clearance, and other logistical activities. For more details, please contact us, we can provide detailed pictures.
Usually most customers will choose DDP (door to door, tax included) or DDU (door to door, tax not included) shipping terms, which is the simplest, if you use regular sea or rail transportation, you will need to clear customs and pay taxes and fees, please contact us for detailed taxes and fees.
Packaging Styles & Materials
Height greatly impacts the amount of materials required in production. Especial for mailer box, the larger the height, the more material is required, and the more expensive it will be.
Flute, or corrugation, is used to strengthen or reinforce the cardboard that’s used in your packaging. They typically look like wavy lines which when glued to a paperboard, forms the corrugated board. Fluting in packaging gives your packaging the rigidity and helps withstand any crushing.
It depends on your design, if your design is colorful, CCNB paper is more suitable for you, if you want your packaging to be more natural and environmental friendly, kraft paper is a more suitable choice.
Our standard finishes include a matte or glossy aqueous finish. Depending on your design, we may use lamination instead to minimize the appearance of cracks in the paper.

Usually we use Art paper or Kraft paper, such as 300gsm, 350gsm, 400gsm Kraft paper or C1S/C2S paper.
The usual material is to wrap 157gsm C2S art paper on strong cardboard, and then molded. print and finishing are applied on thin art paper.
Usually we use 157-180gsm C2S as the cover paper, 800-1500gsm cardboard as the inner grey cardboard material, if you want your box to be more natural, you can choose 157gsm white/kraft paper, but you can’t achieve colorful color effects.
Kraft rigid boxes are uncoated, and all other rigid boxes come with a matte or glossy lamination. The standard lamination used is made with thin plastic. To upgrade to eco-friendly lamination, contact with us for a custom quote!
The rigid gift rigid box from cheap to expensive is half-covered lid and bottom box < full-covered lid and bottom box < drawer box < unfoldable magnet box < folding magnet box < special-shaped gift box. Please contact us to develop a suitable packaging solution for you.
We recommend an external carton for shipping. Rigid boxes shipped on its own or in thin polybags could cause dents on the edges and scratches on the boxes. In order to ensure your premium packaging stays premium until it reaches the hands of your customers, use for a shipping carton or mailer box.

Colors tend to look duller when printed on kraft paper. When printing on kraft, we strongly suggest black or white ink to ensure it comes out nicely. Contact us to show you some samples of Kraft packagings.
We support print in CMYK and Pantone colors. Please give a Pantone code to match your color if you need Pantone print.
A dieline is a 2D template of your packaging that shows where everything will be printed, folded, and cut.
Yes for sure, and it’s FREE! To get die cutting file and 3D mock up samples, please contact our team.
Foil stamping, also known as hot stamping, is a printing method that uses heat and pressure to add a layer of foil film to your material.
Embossing is the process of creating a raised image or design on paper. An embossed logo or text would be slightly raised off the paper, and is achieved by pushing a metal die into the substrate/paper from underneath.
We use soy-based ink for most of print!
Usually CMYK is more commonly used. RGB is an additive color model primarily used for digital formats. CMYK is a subtractive model mainly used in print materials. Pantone provides a standardized system for color identification and matching. Pantone shades can be converted to RGB or CMYK.
Bleed refers to an extra 1/8” (. 125 in) of image or background color that extends beyond the trim area of your printing piece. The project is printed on an oversized sheet that is then cut down to size with the appearance that the image is “bleeding” off the edge of the paper.
Debossing is the process of creating a depressed or indented image or design on your paper. A debossed logo or text would be slightly indented into the paper, and is achieved by pushing a metal die into the substrate/paper from the top.
Our standard finish is a matte or glossy varnish for most packaging types, and a matte or glossy lamination for rigid boxes. Standard materials have been pre-selected for each packaging type.
Aqueous varnish, also known as an aqueous coating, is a fast-drying, water based coating used to protect your printed materials.
An aqueous varnish is a water-based coating added to your printed materials, and lamination is the process of adding a clear plastic film to your printed materials.
A matte finish gives your packaging a softer look with a smooth texture, while a glossy finish gives your packaging a shiny look.
A soft touch finish is a finish added to your printed artwork that gives your packaging a velvety feel. It can be applied as a soft touch varnish or soft touch laminate. Soft touch finishes can be provided at an additional cost.
Digital printing is most commonly used to print simple samples. Digital printers don’t rely on plates, but rather on toners and cartridges, similar to a printer you would have at home. Digital printers work with CMYK colors only (no Pantone), and print quality/color accuracy isn’t as great as offset printers. It is enough to confirm the printed content. Digital printing can achieve about 80% of the effect compared to offset printing.
Usually we use offset printing, we use German Heidelberg high-precision printing machine, the printing effect and quality are very good.
Offset printing, also called offset lithography, is a method of mass-production printing in which the images on metal plates are transferred (offset) to rubber blankets or rollers and then to the print media.
Offset requires plates that are used to transfer an image onto a rubber blanket and that are rolled onto a sheeting of paper. It is called offset because the ink is not transferred directly to the paper. With digital printing, there are no plates involved and the toner is distributed directly to the paper.
